La Redoute UK
La Redoute UK Website – a review.
The Spring and Summer Ranges have arrived with a bang at La Redoute UK and are within all of the catalogues including the kids one – Vertbaudet. With the sun shining hard and the temperatures still below zero, dreaming about what I could be wearing in the summer warms me to the bone!
The La Redoute UK website is a fantastic catalogue for womenswear, fashion, menswear, kids clothes and even homewear – there’s literally something for everyone here. They have had an online presence for many years and it shows – the quality of their website is superb.
The La Redoute UK website is simple to use, full of useful pictures that show people wearing the clothes in real situations rather than just skinny models posing.
There are plenty of filters that will narrow down your searches, so if you are just browsing around and not looking for anything specific it’s great. Once you’ve found something that you like the site shows you what’s in stock at each size and colour combination available. So there’s no getting to the La Redoute checkout stage and then realising they don’t have your size!
La Redoute UK have loads of offers on their site – they have a special button that is always visible for “Sale” items – I’ve never seen the site with this button missing, and I do go there quite frequently. IN the January sales the offers at La Redoute were up to 60% off – now you have to admit, that’s a pretty good sale!
The only thing I don’t like about La Redoute is the fact that delivery isn’t free. When this review was written, it was £3.99 per order. You also have to pay postage for returns, again something I don’t really like in a clothes website as it means that you can’t try things on before you start spending money. The £3.99 is a fixed fee, so just make sure you buy lots of garments to get your money’s worth!!
Overall this is one of the best clothing websites around, and who cares about the postage, the prices are so great it doesn’t make much of a difference and you won’t be returning anything anyway, right?
Are you ready to give La Redoute a try?
Oh and search for La Redoute from the top of this page to see the latest offers they have on – you’re sure to find something great.
Some other great resources about La Redoute:
clothes | crazyyoungsters.com – I’ve already gotten a good start on my fall shopping, and one of the first things I bought was a greatfitted jacket. The past few years the boyfriend jacket (which is a boxier cut) was trendy, but I’ve always pushed the fitted jacket as the way to go. Why? For one thing, it helps create a waist and gives you a much sexier shape than a baggy silhouette.
Karl Lagerfeld for Macy’s – Beautiful Shopping – Scheduled for an August 31 launch at more than 200 Macy’s stores and online, the 45-piece collection will be priced from $50 to $170. In addition to the sketches just released by the designer, curious shoppers can take a first look at the range in the August issue of American Vogue where a $109 dress from the collection described by Lagerfeld as a coup d’oeil to the dresses I designed for Chloe is featured in one of the fashion spreads. Lagerfeld will create another line for Macy’s for the upcoming holiday season, and a capsule collection by Italian designer Giambattista Valli is expected to become available in November.
Cover Loving: Beyonce For Harpers Bazaar | Fashionista Barbie – I quite liked Beyonce’s cover for the UK Harper’s Bazaar back in September, but I absolutely love the covers for the US’s November issue. Both.
