Lingerie
After looking at what visitors to the site are searching for, it looks like a lot of people are hunting down some good online resources for buying lingerie of one kind or another. So I thought I’d create a set of pages dedicated to the subject and its various sub categories.
We’ll start with a definition:
In French, lingerie applies to all undergarments for either sex. In English it is generally applied to those undergarments that are visually appealing or erotic and again generally for women.
So, as most of you are English 
we’ll go with the English definition and be looking at women’s underwear and where you can get it from. Looking at what you guys searched for on the site and through Google, you have various spellings of the word – the most common are (ligerie, lengerie,lingrie, lingeria, lingirie).
We will shortly have other sections available on the site for several specific types of lingerie such as negligee, maternity lingerie, bridal underwear and corsets – keep an eye out for these!
So, the big question is here can you get lingerie from – well if you’ve done much searching around the web already, you’ll have seen that there are specialist lingerie outlets and then departments within larger stores – I’ll highlight the best ones below for you.
One thing to mention – if you are looking at these sites from work, some of the images they present are, well, women in sexy lingerie! Some companies may not like you looking at this kind of photo from work – so be careful, and maybe do it from home instead!

Lingerie Express
LingerieExpress has a fantastic website full of sexy lingerie of all types, from babydolls, basques and bustiers though to corsets, teddies and hosiery. When you choose an item, you can see modelled all the different colours and can even zoom in to see exactly how the fastenings work for example.
They have a fab sale area, which is great to browse when you’re not exactly sure what you want to buy, whether it be just a bra or pair of knickers or you stumble across a sexy fantasy costume!!
At the time of writing, LingerieExpress was offering free UK delivery on all orders over £40.
BeCheeky
As the name suggests, BeCheeky has a little something else than some of the other lingerie sites. They have a fantastic range of everyday lingerie like chemises, babydolls, corsets, basques and suspenders plus a large selection of bras, thongs and knickers. The navigation makes it really easy to find what you are looking for as each main section then splits down into its subsections.
BeCheeky has have loads of swimwear, hosiery and nightwear. They even have a mens’ section which is made up of boxers, thongs, briefs and swimwear.
Now the difference – BeCheeky also have a section they call BeNaughty which has items of a rather more adult variety. There’s nothing sleazy here, just naughty! I’ll let you make your own mind up by clicking here!!
BeCheeky nearly always has a sale on where you can pick up some great bargains.

What I love about BeCheeky is that for all the different ranges, styles and options of lingerie, they are well aware that for many of us comfort is all important. One of my favourite sections of their site is the Lingerie basics, where you get lovely sexy lingerie without any of the fancy bits meaning you can wear it every day!
Wickedelic Lingerie
Wickedelic Lingerie have a fantastic range of, well strangely, wicked lingerie! With a large number of categories to choose from, the navigation quickly lets you move to the area you want, and also makes browsing other areas very simple (nearly as simple as ending up with a basket of stuff you didn’t realise you needed!).
They have the standard lingerie, sexy nightwear, outerwear, swimwear, plus size lingerie, Christmas lingerie and hot hosiery plus a vast range of other exciting departments to browse through.
All deliveries from Wickedelic Lingerie is free – if you want to speed it up there is a £5.00 charge.

Miss Selfridge
Miss Selfridge don’t currently have a huge selection of lingerie. In fact they have a a selection of things and briefs and that’s it! Still, they are worth a mention as they are pretty good value for money. They often have sales on (right now there is a 3 for £9 special offer on). Not really much more to say! – I’ll let you know if they decide to increase their range at all.
One thing to remember with Miss Selfridge is the £5 delivery charge – so unless you are buying a barrow full of briefs, probably not the best place to shop for them!
Wolford
Wolford’s is an interesting store with a fairly small range of high quality (and expensive) clothes in there. Their lingerie section is no different. The cheapest bra for instance is £37, going up to £99. So if you have money to spend, Wolford is certainly somewhere to look. As well as the bras they have a range of strings, panties, garters and some lovely looking bodies.
With these prices, they can certainly afford to give free delivery and free returns on all of their items – so take advantage of this at least!
Tightsplease
Although Tightsplease is not a specialist Lingerie store, pretty much everything they sell goes directly against the skin in an underwear type way. The name is bit of a give-away about the main thrust of the store – tights! A the time of writing, the site is not too good on the eye, a little bit old fashioned in the design. It works well though and allows you to sort very easily to drill down to exactly what you want. Tightsplease also tells you when you are choosing the size whether they have it in stock, saving you time and effort.
They have a huge range of bras – several sections devoted to them. One section on basques and one on knickers. Not a huge selection of Lingerie as such.
Finally, Tightsplease has one huge advantage over some of the others in this space – Free delivery!!
